situated inside an ancient fortress, of which some remnants are still visible today, on a green and steep slope of Amani mountain. On July 26th is celebrated Agia Paraskevi, to whom is consecrated the main church of the village. Near Chalandra is an other village, the small and abandoned settlement of Kamini, where you can see the church dedicated to Agios Modestos.
